7 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe how quickly our little girl is growing! Each day she is more and more fun to be with. She is a very happy baby most of the time. She smiles a lot now -- especially when we are changing her diaper!

Rebekah had her six week check-up the other day, and she's grown two inches and gained three pounds since she was born, bringing her to 21 inches and 10 pounds. She wasn't too thrilled about the injections she had to get, but she was pretty brave overall.

She will be taking her first plane ride in just a couple of weeks, and will get to meet some of her extended family members that have been itching to meet her. For more details on that, see our blog. You can be praying that she will do well on the loooong plane ride and not have too much trouble with jet lag (for her mom's sake!). We'll keep you updated!
