10 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Rebekah is nearly a year old! Little ones grow and change so much so quickly.

Now that classes have resumed at the seminary, Rebekah is enjoying all of the extra attention she gets from the students. They love playing with her, and she likes showing off for them as well. She has also made quite a friend in a two-year-old boy named Mathew. He is the son of one of the other BSSI professors, and also attends our church. When Mathew sees Rebekah, he gets excited and says "Bekah! Bekah!" Rebekah then starts in with her fake laugh because she knows it will make Mathew laugh...and it does. It is quite humorous to watch the two of them together.

Rebekah is standing on her own more and more now, and has taken one step a couple of times, but hasn't actually started walking yet. Mostly this past month she has been working on perfecting her current skills before moving on to new ones!

She has become quite the little tease, and loves to do things that she knows will make people laugh. She can also be a little whiner when she doesn't get her way, but we are trying to nip that before it becomes a habit. Overall, she is great fun to have around!

Playing peek-a-boo with her dress

These next photos are just a few random shots. Don't ask where some of these expressions came from! Rebekah can be quite the silly girl at times.

The one of Rebekah holding the book over her head--her expression looks just like Granddad Waldock. Same glint in the eye! :)

Check out her "book-over-the-head" pose! The photo of her in the peach dress is so adorable!
