A Tiny Thief

Friday night we had Nathan's advisor group over as well as that of one of the other professors. The little guy with Rebekah in this picture is Mathew, the other professor's son. He is two-years-old and much bigger than Rebekah as you can see. Some of the students had given each of the kids a little box of chocolates. They were both thrilled with the gift, although you can't tell that in the picture below!

Rebekah decided she needed BOTH snacks, so she proceeded to take Mathew's right out of his hand. She did that several times, in fact. You can tell from Mathew's face that he wasn't too pleased with the situation, but he never fought back. He never even tried to take it back from her, in fact. He would just come complaining to me or to his mom. I'm glad that Mathew doesn't hit Rebekah or fight with her, but it might be nice if he would at least defend himself from our tiny thief!
