Rebekah's New Seats

In our search for the right camera for us, we borrowed two different cameras from some friends to test (A Sony H1 and a Nikon D40 for those interested!). Of course we had to test them on our favorite moving target, so we have quite a few new pictures to share.

Rebekah has discovered several new "seating arrangements" that she really enjoys. One is sitting on the couch by herself. She's always enjoyed sitting with us (for a brief time), but now she wants her own spot on the couch. She loves sitting up there with us and playing with her toys, dolls, and books.

She also loves it when I take the chair part of her high chair off and put it on the floor. She'll sit there to have a snack or play with toys while I'm working in the kitchen. She also likes coloring there.

Her bouncy seat has become a "new" attraction too. We had put it away for a few months when it was more of a hazzard than a help, but now she can climb in and out of it without killing herself. She will take her books to her chair and sit and read like she sees Mom and Dad doing. Sometimes she just enjoys climbing in and out!

Rebekah has also discovered that the kitchen stool makes a great place to sit while I am working in the kitchen. She can see over the top of the counter, and she'll sit there for quite awhile just watching me wash dishes, cook, etc.

Rebekah has had a cold for the past couple of weeks. Actually it seems like she and I have been passing things back and forth, as much as I have tried not to let that happen. You can see her snotty little nose and tired eyes in this picture.

I have been wiping her nose constantly, it seems, and she has decided that she likes doing it herself. I don't usually let her because it makes more of a mess than anything. In these next pictures she had found the cloth I use to wipe her face after meals, and decided to use it for several purposes...
First she admires it...

Then wipes her nose with it...

Then cleans the floor with it...

Then cleans Mommy with it!

Needless to say, that cloth's next stop was the washing machine.

Yes, Rebekah keeps life fun and interesting even when she's sick. =)
