Miss "Center-of-Her-World"

Yes, Rebekah definitely considers herself to be the center of her little world. The trouble is that with her white skin and friendly nature, she often IS the center of her world! Well, Lord willing, that will change as she grows and realizes that the world really doesn't revolve around her.

This picture is a classic example. Some friends of ours gave this dress to Rebekah when she was born, but it just now fits her. I tried it on her a couple of days before a wedding we were planning to attend, and she just thought it was the greatest thing! Here she is admiring herself in the mirror.

These next photos are just some fun shots we've taken over the past couple of weeks or so. As you can see, Rebekah is quite the ham!

Saying "hi" to one of the construction workers who is helping to build the house next to ours.

Watching cartoons that Aunt Steph sent her for Christmas

It's hard to believe she's so grown up! But those first two years are full of changes!

She looks like a little ballerina. And what fun learning about all the wonderful things around her.

I miss her so.

Off to teach my first class of the spring semester. I have six students for writing class this time around. :)
