Rebekah at the library with cousin Kylie
It has been interesting to see Rebekah's reactions to things here in the States. When we're driving down the road, she says, "We going the wrong way, Dad! You're driving on the grass!" No, Nathan isn't driving off the road. =) Rebekah sees grass outside of her window (which she very rarely sees in India), so she thinks that is what we're driving on.

We went to the library yesterday with my sister and her daughter, Kylie, who is just 2 months younger than Rebekah. The library was having an Easter party for all of the little ones - with songs, stories, crafts, snacks, etc. There were probably 30 kids aged four and under in that room! I don't think Rebekah had ever seen so many kids her age in one place before, and I think she was a little overwhelmed at first. She warmed up to the situation pretty quickly though, and by the time we left I was having to keep a close eye out because she kept disappearing on me to go see what everyone else in the room was up to. =)
Daniel is his ever happy, smiley self, and is charming everyone he meets. He had his first experience in a church nursery this past Sunday, and the nursery workers said that he just played and smiled at everyone the entire time. I am praying that he keeps that up because he's going to be exposed to MANY different church nurseries over the course of the next year! Daniel is a friendly baby, but he seems to be more reserved than Rebekah was, so we'll see.
Rebekah with Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Eileen
Rebekah enjoyed going in the 2-year-old class at church Sunday, but she was more than ready to leave when we went to get her. All of the changes in her little life seem to be exciting to her, but we can also see that she is a bit more insecure in general and is needing plenty of reassurance (and as much stability as possible) from Mom and Dad during this time of constant change. It's a tough thing for a toddler, but she is a real trooper. We do appreciate your prayers for both of the kids during this year of constant upheaval! We want to make it as fun for them as possible, but we know that it still won't always be easy for them. Thank you for your prayers!

Both the little ones are real troopers! I don't know of any other kids that would adjust as much as they have! You are in our prayers.
Fairy godmother, eh? wow... all her wishes granted? Pretty sweet set up for her! :)
What a character!
