Daniel's one year check-up

As I mentioned in Daniel's one-year-old post the other day, Daniel had his 12-month check-up today. I keep meaning (and keep forgetting) to take our camera to these doctor's visits so our Indian friends can see what an American pediatrician's office looks like. Maybe I'll remember next time. For now I'll suffice it to say that it is different....quite different.

Anyway, Daniel did well and is well. I wanted to make sure that he was completely over the pneumonia, and it seems that he is, so that is good. If anyone is interested here are the stats as to his current growth:

Weight: 20lb 6oz (9.2kg) - 15%

Height: 29.5 in (75cm) - 41%

Head Circumference: 18.3in (46.5cm) - 53%

So basically he's finally catching up in height, but is a bit of a shrimp in the weight department. That's hard to believe given the amount of food he puts away though!

And yes, I am aware that I have yet to put up a post about the kids' joint birthday party. I took the lazy way out and just uploaded a bunch of photos onto facebook. I'll get around to it though...hopefully within the next couple of weeks!
