Recent Rebekah Quotes

Our 3 1/2 year old talks almost constantly, and we often hear rather humorous statements coming from her 3-year-old treasury of knowledge. Here are a few of her recent statements...."When I grow up, I can be whatever God wants me to be... a mommy... or a doctor... or a pirate!"

Rebekah saw a couple of baby boys lying side by side on the floor at church and said, "They are boys. When they grow up, they are going to be daddies."

After church on Palm Sunday, Nathan asked Rebekah what story she had heard at church. She said, "I heard about how Jesus was riding on a camel!"

This morning we attended a Mother's Day breakfast at our west coast home church. Rebekah was sitting outside on some rocks with her plate of food next to her. A 7-year-old girl came and sat down beside her. I didn't notice anything strange until Rebekah turned to the girl and very sweetly and politely said, "Um, excuse me, you're sitting on my plate."

Mommy to Rebekah: "I love you very much."
Rebekah: "Oh, thank you. I like to be loved."
