Would there still be spring....?

Yesterday while on a walk, the kids and I were talking about the seasons. We talked through the progression of the 4 seasons and about how the leaves are falling now, but in the Spring new leaves will grow. Rebekah was quiet for a minute or two before asking, "If Jesus didn't come back to life, would new leaves still grow in the spring?"
