Little Miss 5-Month-Old

Our sweet tiny girl is not so tiny anymore! She's becoming quite the little person, and such a fun person to be around.

When I get her up in the morning or after a nap, I am usually greeted with a huge grin. Just this morning I picked her up just as she was waking up, and took her to see Daddy. She was grinning at him so big that you'd think her face would break! Like this:Our happy little gal

Hannah is absolutely in love with her Daddy!

Hannah has become quite mobile over the past few weeks. At 4-months-old she was only rolling stomach to back. Now she rolls both ways easily and is doing her own version of the army crawl. There are always plenty of things nearby that she would love to get into, so she has plenty of motivation. When I put her down on her blanket, she plays with what's in front of her for a minute or two, and then either rolls or pulls herself to whatever looks more interesting. There's no stopping her now!
She's gotten much better at handling the things she wants over the past month too. She can reach for a toy or go get it and pick it up. It's very nice that no longer have to keep giving her the toys she drops and can't pick back up!

Hannah's sleeping habits have been interesting lately. She sleeps great at night, getting 10-11 hours of sleep. During the day, however, she has a much harder time sleeping. Her naps often get cut in half, I think at least partially because she hears the noise of Rebekah and Daniel and doesn't want to miss out on the fun!
Hannah loves to babble, and will carry on quite an animated conversation at times. She seems very interested in any food we eat, but I let her try rice cereal once and she was not at all impressed, so we'll wait on that. Overall she is a sweet, content, happy little girl, and we could not imagine her NOT being a part of our family!
Hannah's wide-eyed "Oh, WOW" look... most often seen when she is watching her siblings
