Hannah is working hard at crawling, although she isn't quite there yet. She gets up on all fours quite often and rocks back and forth, sometimes propelling herself forward a little. Mostly though, she pulls herself around with her arms, pushing off with one foot in the back.
Her first two teeth broke through just a few days ago, but we're thinking that she may be working on a few more.
Hannah started eating solids about a week ago. So far she's had rice cereal and bananas, and will be trying carrots soon. She's not a huge fan of solids yet, but does seem to be a bit more content between meals now.
Hannah loves playing with/ bothering Rebekah and Daniel. Just in the last few weeks she seems to have passed the stage of being content to sit and watch what everyone else is doing. She wants to be involved, and gets a bit annoyed when she can't be! The most recent favorite activity that the three of them can do together is build (and knock down) block towers. Rebekah and Daniel build the towers, and then Daniel and Hannah knock them over. All three of them get a big kick out of that, and Hannah seems particularly thrilled that her big sister and brother are letting her in on their activities. Normally they grab things away from her as soon as she gets them!
"Helping" Rebekah color
Although whatever Rebekah and Daniel have is preferable, Hannah really enjoys her own toys too. In the photo below, she is retrieving her toy of choice from her little toy basket in the corner.
And although our Hannah is growing way too quickly for my liking, she is still a cuddly little girl. She enjoys being held and cuddled, especially right before she goes down for a nap. Hopefully that will last!
