Rebekah has been wanting to learn to read for over a year now. She was highly motivated to learn the letters of the alphabet and their sounds because we had told her that knowing those things would help her learn how to read. Now she is at the point of beginning to sound out short words. She is a bit annoyed at the fact that there are so many rules (and broken rules) in the English language, but then aren't we all?! The following is a video of Rebekah showing off some of her reading skills.
