15-Months!

Our little pixie girl is 15-months-old. She's such a character! She's at a stage right now where she is learning so much every day, and it is great fun to be a part of it.
Hannah loves to dress up in anything belonging to Rebekah - especially shoes and jewelry
Hannah's vocabulary is growing rapidly right now, although if you don't know what she's saying, you probably wouldn't know most of the time! She will often jabber on at a great rate, telling us stories about all sorts of things that we can't yet decipher. The words her family understands so far are: "up, down, off, uh-oh, thanks, there-she-is, hat, Jesus, love, amen (anytime a song or prayer ends), dog, stairs, shoes, clap, praise the Lord, this, that, don't touch, hot," and a few others that I can't recall at the moment. She seems to understand pretty much everything we tell her, although she sometimes seems to feign ignorance in hopes of avoiding obedience. At this age it is often a challenge for us to tell the difference, but we are learning!

Little Miss Mischief, happy to be on the wrong side of the gate!
Hannah loves to sing. On Mondays especially she will walk around the house with a book open in her hands, singing away. We're pretty sure she thinks she's holding a hymnal and is imitating what she's seen on Sunday.

Last Sunday someone was carrying her around and gave her a little book to hold. She promptly opened the book and began to sing! She put on quite the little show.

Hannah's current favorite song is "Happy All the Time," and we will often see her trying to jump up and down saying, "up down!" She also loves "Clap Your Hands," "Jesus Loves Me," and "Peter James and John." She gets so excited when we sing one of "her" songs during our family devotions!
"There she is!"

Hannah is very fascinated by animals, especially dogs. She barks anytime she sees a dog (or cow or buffalo!). She also growls for lions, tigers, and bears, and we occasionally hear a meow or quack for cats and ducks.
"Please?"

Hannah is a happy little girl much of the time, but can also be rather needy and clingy at times. She is by far our most cuddly child, which I love, but I guess the clinginess goes along with that. She still doesn't like for Mommy to be out of sight, or even to be out of Mommy's arms. She's gradually getting better about that though, especially as she loves running and playing with the big kids.

Hannah loves bathtime!
Coloring with big sis

Hannah wants to be a part of anything her big brother and sister are doing. The other day they were painting and she just would not be convinced that coloring was an acceptable alternative! So Hannah got to try finger painting for the first time. She wasn't so sure about it at first, but then really got into it. And we even managed to keep the paint out of her hair, so Mommy was happy. =)
