Rainbow Pinwheel Cookies

The kids have LOVED having Grandad and Grandma Waldock with us while they have been house hunting. Especially now that Grandma is on Pinterest and is finding lots of fun and exciting projects to do together!

She found a recipe for Rainbow Pinwheel Cookies, which looked really cool and didn't look too complicated to make. So we started off with my Grandma's Sugar Cookie recipe, and went from there. The kids loved the process, and the finished product was a big hit as well.

coloring the dough and rolling it into small balls

Making larger balls and "snakes"

"Look, I made a snail!"

The tongue shows that he is really hard at work

Roll the "snails" in sprinkles and bake

Voila!
