Here is Rebekah's birthday interview. She was drawing a blank on a lot of things, so it took awhile for her to come up with some of the answers! Because of that, the video is almost 15 minutes long. If you don't want to sit through all of her thinking, the text version is below. =)
How old are you today? Seven!
What is your favorite color? Strawberry pink
What is your
favorite toy? toy
Belle a toy Cinderella, Belle’s son, firstborn named Laughter, and Belle’s son
Jonathan – he goes by Jon.
What is your favorite fruit? Mango
What is your favorite movie? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
What is your favorite thing to eat
for lunch? Sandwiches or noodles
What is your favorite outfit? Don’t know
What is your favorite game? Spider-Man Uno
What is your favorite snack? Onion rings - they’re chips, that’s what they call them
in India
What is your favorite animal? Cat, kitten, dog, puppy
What is your favorite song? I don’t know.
What is your favorite book? Usually the one that I’m reading
Who is your best friend? I’d have to choose between Prathana and Kylie. Prathana
is my best Indian friend, Kylie is my best American friend. So I have basically
two best friends, but don’t tell any of my other friends.
What is your favorite thing to do
outside? Go for a walk while riding my bike
or running. OR playing in the sandbox with the sand toys.
What is your favorite drink? Hot chocolate with marshmallows
What do you like to take to bed with
you at night? That usually depends on what
my favorite toy is.
What is your favorite
breakfast? That’s a tough one between
pancakes, waffles, and oatmeal that doesn’t need jaggery (with cinnamon and
sugar).
What do you want to be when you grow
up? A Mom or a ballerina, or an artist, or
lots of different things besides those that I want to be… a missionary… that I
can’t think of now.
What is your favorite thing to do
with Mommy? I don’t know

with Daddy? I don’t know

with your friends? Play
I think the times when
I have the most fun is when I’m spending time with my family and playing a game
or watching a movie, and my little brother Daniel and my little sister Hannah,
well, as long as they’re not (especially Hannah), as long as they’re not making
noise, that’s when I’m having the most fun.
What is your favorite thing to do
with Daniel? Playing with Hannah’s ark
What is your favorite thing to do
with Hannah? Dress up, maybe
Where is your favorite place to go? Aradhna, that’s our new church
What do you love about going to Grandad
and Grandma’s house? I like to play at their
house, we brought over some of our toys. And they have boxes from their
refrigerator, their washing machine, and their oven. And there are three of us
children…. There are three boxes, three children, so one box is mine, one box
is Daniel’s, one box is Hannah’s. Sometimes we trade if we don’t like the box
we’re using.
What do you love about talking to
Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Eileen on Skype? That
I get to see them. Because when I’m Skyping with them, it’s usually when I
haven’t seen them for awhile.
What is your favorite thing to
play? I don’t know.
What thing do you most dislike
doing? Basically being made to do what I don’t
want to do.
What would you do if you could stay
up all night? Read and help Amma and Appa.
Where would you go if you could go
anywhere in the world? Well, I would… I
think I would pretty much go anywhere in the world the airports and ships and
traveling stuff would let me in and tell people about Jesus.
What makes you happy? Well… most of the time I’m happy about different things.
But whenever I’m happy about not a thing… like not things like toys and stuff
like that, but not things you can hold, when I’m not happy about things like
that, I’m happy that Jesus came into my heart to stay.
What make you sad? When I’m not sad about things that you can hold and
things like that, I’m sad that a lot of people, especially in my own country which is India, don’t know Jesus. Cause
if you know Jesus, you’ll go to heaven, and you will… in heaven there will be
no sickness, not thorns or cactuses, no meat eaters… I mean like no animals
eating people and stuff.
What do you wish you could do? Grow up faster
What makes this the best birthday
ever? I don’t know. I’m not even sure this
is the best birthday ever because I probably haven’t gone through all my
birthdays yet.(Our literalist!)
