Karunya and Daniel have birthdays just 13 days apart - Karunya on October 3rd, and Daniel on Oct. 16th. This year it worked out best to combine birthday parties. A joint party is a little tricky when it is for a boy and girl with vastly different interests. When they were turning 2 and 4, I convinced them to go with a Jungle Book theme, and that worked great. I knew that wouldn't work this time, however, so figured from the get-go that we'd end up with two totally different themes, and that's what happened. Soccer/football on the right, and Elsa (from the movie Frozen) on the left. The kids even organized all of the guests so that all the ladies and girls were on the Elsa side, and all of the men and boys were on the football side. =)
