First REAL Haircut

Rebekah had her hair cut for the first time the other day. It was getting rather long and unruly, so it was time. She thinks she's big stuff now!

"Before"
How did I cut a 9-month-old's hair? I stripped her, set her on the floor, and gave her some Cheerioes!

The finished product
(although I keep finding a few hairs here and there that need to be snipped off!)

Ah, what a darling, to be sure! I miss hugging on her SO MUCH!

She's a gal on the go, learning new things everyday. You go, Rebekah! Grandma Eileen sends a big hug and kiss to you! And I love your new "do"!

Wow! You are so brave to attempt a haircut. I definitely wouldn't be that brave. I always have to pull Kayla's front hair back otherwise it hangs in her eyes and it looks like a lion's mane. :-) I don't want to cut her hair, though, because I'm afraid I'll cut the curls out and I love them. You did a great job, Rachel!
