We had Rebekah's birthday party this evening. We just had a small get-together with our "family" here. She was thrilled with everything -- her party guests (Grandma and Grandad Waldock and Uncle Sam and Aunty Marie Lynn), her cake, ice cream, wrapping paper, gifts....everything. She even kept her "One" hat on most of the time!
I blew out my candle all by myself! Well, I tried. In the end I had a little help from Daddy.

Mommy made carrot cake -- mmmm! Want some?

The ice cream was good too...maybe even better than the cake.
How do I get into this thing?

A little keyboard! It's just my size, and it will even play songs for me until I learn to play myself!

Grandma and Grandad gave me a Noddy doll and Noddy books. I love Noddy!
Wow! I can't believe all of these great toys!
Uncle Sam and Grandad like my toys too...
I'll share....but just for a little while.
Aunty Marie helped me play my keyboard.
Here I am with Dad, Mom, and Grandma and Grandad Waldock. I know I look a little serious, but I'm just worn out after all that partying. I can't wait until I turn two!

What a fun birthday party little Rebekah! We are so happy you are one! And yes....both of us can't wait for you to turn two too!!
And look at that lovely cake your Mommy decorated with Gems! (And we also notice you hanging on to your cell phone while Aunty Marie plays with your news keyboard!) ;)
You are very cute!
Such a colorful birthday! Lots of fun, Rebekah! Growing and learning and listening to mommy and daddy. Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Eileen miss you and wish we could be with you and mommy and daddy, but are so happy that you have Grandad and Grandma Waldock and Uncle Sam and Aunty Marie to love and play with you. We love you!
