Water Baby

It has been a cool summer this year, at least compared to last year (remember that summer here is March - May). It finally got warm enough last week to bring out Rebekah's little pool. It seems so much smaller than it did last year when Rebekah was much smaller! Even so, she loves it. Every afternoon after her nap she asks, "Pool? Swimming?" So I set up her pool outside on the little terrace where we keep the washing machine and fill it with water. Then I strip Rebekah, put some clean training pants on her, and let her at it. She'll sit there in the pool for over an hour, often just pouring water from one container to another, and often onto herself as well. She has a blast!
