"Mommy, my sock has a flat tire!"

I wish I had the time to write down all of the cute, funny, and amusing things Rebekah says throughout the course of a day. Sometimes I have to work very hard not to openly laugh at her! Here are a couple of recent Rebekah quotes:

Rebekah was playing in her room while I was cooking lunch today. All of a sudden I heard, "Mother, can you help me? I'm high up! Can you help me get down, Mother?"

I have no idea where she got that from. I went into her room half wondering if she had named one of her dolls "Mother" and was playing with them. Nope, she was calling for me. Her mother. She seemed pleased that I responded to being called "Mother," but I told her that she could call me "Mom." Ever since then though, I've been "Mother"! Wonder how long this will last?!

Now for one of my favorite Rebekah quotes ever:

"Mommy, my sock has a flat tire! Can you fix my flat tire?"

She had been watching Dora one morning last week, and the episode was one where they were riding a firetruck. The firetruck got a flat tire, and Dora and Boots had to fix it. Later that day, her sock came halfway off her foot so that the front part of her sock was "flat." So she said that her sock had a flat tire. =) At least I think that was the reasoning behind that statement!

There are SO many humorous things she says; I wish I could remember them all. Usually if I don't write them down immediately, I forget them even before Nathan comes home. I'll try to get a few more of them posted as I think of it though. =)

That is so funny about the flat tire -- sock! I actually know which Dora you're talking about too. :-)

I too neglect to write down the funny things Kayla says right away because they're so funny that I'm not going to forget. But just like you said, in the same day of trying to tell Dan about it, I've already forgotten!

I confess I openly do bust up laughing at some of the things Eirena says!
"mother" how very formal of her!She must be a very grown up little girl.
We still use "mommy" around here :)
