Daniel is one week old today! He is becoming more alert each day, and seems interested in everything around him. He LOVES mealtime! Nathan's Dad had told us that he would probably be a better eater than Rebekah was, simply because he is a boy. Well it's true! We made a trip to the pediatrician yesterday, and he's already gained a tenth of a kilogram, whereas most babies loose weight in the first couple of weeks! He has a bit of jaundice, but the doctor said it is mild and should go away on its own within the next week.

Hi Rachel! I can't believe it...I don't check your blog for a week, and you go and have the baby on me :-)!!! I've been out of commission lately (fell on my back) so my blog reading has fallen woefully behind. So a bit belated CONGRATULATIONS! He's adorable, and it looks like Rebekah is just proud as punch. :-) You're right, I can't believe how much that last pic looks like your dad. Crazy! Hope you're doing well, Love, ~Kristin
